LifeX is jointly established by Gannan Medical University and HaploX biotechnology, with the mission to solve healthcare problems with life science and information technologies.

LifeX is started in 2025, and led by the highly-cited bioinformatics scientist Dr. Shifu Chen. LifeX is seeking for talents!

Applicants need to have a high passion for fields such as bioinformatics, computational biology, AI for life science, and possess at least one of the following characteristics:

  1. Able to design bioinformatics algorithms or develop bioinformatics tools, preferably with successful software/algorithm paper publishing experience.
  2. Able to accelerate the optimization of algorithms in bioinformatics and medical data analysis through high-performance programming. Familiar with high-performance programming languages such as C/C++/Rust, with experience in CUDA or other GPU programming, or SIMD related experience such as SSE/AVX is preferred.
  3. Have a deep understanding of molecular biology, genetics, cancer, and medical immunology, proficient in using bioinformatics tools to analyze data in related fields, and familiar with programming languages such as R/Python.
  4. Regarding machine learning and deep learning, NLP๏ผŒ Familiar with fields such as medical imaging analysis and proficient in using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
